Dr. Christian D. Jocham, DDS
general dentist
As a native of Hershey, Pennsylvania, I am excited to be living in the Northeast and serving the Vermont community. I knew dentistry was the right profession for me as early as 10th grade. I was inspired by my older brother, who is a practicing dentist, and my mother, who is a registered nurse. Combined with my love for the sciences, the healthcare field always felt like a natural path to follow!
Shadowing and assisting dentists throughout high school and college solidified my interest in the profession. I enjoy the communicative aspects of dentistry, including creating a comfortable environment and helping patients manage dental anxieties. The social aspects of dentistry balance nicely with the detail-oriented and artistic nature of the field. I enjoy using my creative skills to provide esthetically pleasing and functional results.
Education and Continuing Education
I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences and a minor in Biology (Class of 2019). Following my undergraduate studies, I attended NYU College of Dentistry (Class of 2024). After earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, I completed a General Practice Residency program at the UVM Medical Center (2025).

Outside the Office
Burlington has been a great fit for my love of running, snowboarding, and tennis. I enjoy training for long-distance races and look forward to snowboarding the many great trails Vermont has to offer. On a regular basis, you can find me walking my dog or reading a good book. I have a soft spot for mysteries or anything by Stephen King!
