Dr. Mary Kathryn DeLoach, DMD

general dentist

The most exciting thing about dentistry is having the opportunity to help patients transform their smile and seeing their self-confidence bloom as a result. Cosmetic changes, both big and small, can be life changing. It is incredibly gratifying when a patient can’t stop smiling at the end of an appointment. I also enjoy helping patients change their attitudes toward dentistry. For many, the idea of a trip to the dentist comes with a lot of anxiety. I strive to create a caring and judgment-free atmosphere to help patients overcome any barriers they have to treatment!

Education and Continuing Education

I graduated cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and premedical studies, and magna cum laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2012 with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society and completed the general practice residency at Fletcher Allen Hospital through the University of Vermont in 2013.

One of the things I love about dentistry is the learning never ends. Dental technology and science are constantly progressing. I enjoy taking continuing education classes to stay up to date with the latest dental materials, techniques, and technology. At the Dawson Dental Academy, I participate in workshops that explore the intricate relationship between the teeth, muscles, and jaw joint, which enables me to create long-lasting restorations in harmony with stable, healthy temporomandibular joints (TMJs).
